AUDITION DETECTIVE

The LINK between PREPARATION and PERFORMANCE

Whether a seasoned professional or just starting out, I want to help you fulfil your potential.

I believe in treating the audition process as an opportunity to develop your craft. Self Tapes, for example, are becoming more popular. Which is a good thing! They offer you far more control. However, I appreciate many can find them stressful for various reasons. I am here to help assist as little or as much as needed.

I will ensure, that whether you book the job or not, you will rest easy knowing you have done your job and presented something you can be proud of.

I  am a Movement Tutor at Guildhall School of Music & Drama and Italia Conti. I am also a Visiting Tutor at LAMDA, LIPA, Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts and Identity School of Acting. Each year I run intake auditions for the National Youth Theatre up and down the UK and I regularly facilitate for The Old Vic on their School's Club programme.

My clients have secured roles for productions companies including the BBC & ITV.

I am available remotely, via zoom.

*I understand the hardships of coming from a regional county with little to no access to arts provisions and a lower socioeconomic background. If required, rates are negotiable on a case by case basis. Please do get in touch to discuss.

WHAT PEOPLE SAY

ELIZABETH
MCCAFFERTY

I had one of the best self taping experiences with Conor. He was patient and incredibly attentive to following the script and intentions of the scene.

My nerves immediately vanished and I became immersed in the work.

It's one of the strongest tapes I've done. He was able to push me to deliver my best work, whilst also making me feel comfortable and confident at all times.

- Rocketman, Marv Films

JOSHUA LYSTER

If you, like myself, struggle with self taping - may it be direction / hitting your actions / the quality of execution or analysing your own performance hit up Conor.

Always comes through with phenomenal help and an awesome eye.

- NYT Rep, Alumni

SHIV JALOTA

I had 5 speeches to prep for NYT Rep auditions. That included 3 moderns, a Shakespeare and a wild card.

Conor broke down each monologue, allowed me to discover a clear "want" and "conflict" and find a true connection between me and the text.

We played, laughed and discovered together. I couldn't recommend his insight more!...I got in.

- Eastenders, BBC

UMULISA GAHIGA

I just want to thank Conor for the 6 weeks he spent teaching us because they helped so much.

I'm about to start filming on a mocap role I got for Prime Video, and I used all of the resources Conor gave us during the audition process.

My movement work has significantly improved and I know he's an integral part of why.
